Artist of the Patch

Jack Ellis was involved in the oil and gas industry in Alberta for some twenty-eight years. In the mid 80's he took brush in hand and started painting. He felt so strongly about his art that he quit a successful career in the oil business in the early 90's to paint full time. He pursued his art career with the same tenacity and dedication he employed in the oil business. Today, with his persistence to succeed, Jack is enjoying a successful career as an accomplished artist.

He has specialized in painting scenes related to the oil and gas industry. He has completed a number of commissioned pieces that now hang in many boardrooms and offices thought out the oil and gas business.
